About The Event
The Analog Arts Society is a monthly gathering for anyone craving a little more time offline and a little more space for creativity, curiosity and connection.
Bring whatever analog hobby you’re currently enjoying — a journal, scrapbook, letters you’ve been meaning to write, a book you’re halfway through, or another clean, table-friendly creative project. There’ll also be a dedicated reading spot for anyone who simply wants to curl up with a good book.
This isn’t a class, and there’s no expectation to create anything in particular. Think of it as dedicated time to actually do the things we so often say we never have time for, surrounded by other people doing the same.
Whether you’re already an avid journaler, scrapbooker or reader, or you’re simply curious about spending more of your free time offline, you’re welcome. Come alone or bring a friend, settle in with your chosen activity, meet some like-minded people and leave feeling creatively recharged.

What To Bring
A journal or scrapbook
Letters or postcards to write
A book or magazine to read
A sketchbook and pencils
Collage, paper crafts or ephemera
Knitting, crochet or another small handcraft
Crosswords, puzzles or anything else that keeps your hands and mind happily occupied
We’ll have a selection of magazines and scrapbooking materials and tools to dip into, plus reading lights for anyone settling into our reading spot — so you don’t need to arrive fully equipped.
And if letter writing is your thing, we have our very own Analog Mailbox. Write your letter or postcard, pop it in the box and we’ll mail it for you after the event.
The only rule? Keep your chosen activity clean, portable and table-friendly. If you can bring it along, settle in and do it without making too much of a mess, it’s probably welcome.
For Makers, Readers & Everyone In Between
You don’t need to be creative, crafty or “good” at anything. The Analog Arts Society is simply a place to spend time offline, enjoy something you love and meet some like-minded people.
And you don’t have to make anything. Bring a book and settle into our dedicated reading spot, where you can curl up and read in the company of others.
Quiet hobbies count, too.

Hi! I’m Harry — writer, content creator and lifelong lover of analog hobbies.
I created Analog Enabler after realizing how much happier and more creatively fulfilled I felt when I made intentional space for the things I loved doing offline — reading, journaling, scrapbooking, writing letters and generally making things with my hands.
Even better was watching those hobbies rub off on the people around me.
Analog Enabler is my way of continuing that ripple effect: sharing ideas, creating resources and bringing people together to make a little more room for creativity, curiosity and life offline.

In Case You Were Wondering

Bring whatever you need for your chosen activity, but you don’t need to arrive fully equipped. We’ll have magazines, scrapbooking materials and tools to dip into, plus reading lights for anyone settling into the reading spot.

Not at all. There’s no skill level, experience or creative ability required. The whole point is to make a little time for something you enjoy doing offline.

Absolutely. We’ll have a dedicated reading spot, so bring your current read, pick up a magazine or simply settle in for a couple of uninterrupted hours.

Journaling, scrapbooking, letter writing, reading, sketching, collage, knitting, crochet, crosswords and other clean, portable, table-friendly analog hobbies are all welcome. If you can comfortably bring it along and it doesn’t make too much of a mess, it’s probably fair game.

Please do! You absolutely don’t need to know anyone before you arrive. The Analog Arts Society is designed to be somewhere you can comfortably come alone, settle into your own activity and meet some like-minded people along the way.

The suggested contribution is $10, but The Analog Arts Society is pay what you can. Choose whatever feels comfortable for you — we’d much rather have you join us than miss out because of the cost.

Yes. Space is limited, so everyone attending needs to RSVP in advance to secure their spot. Your RSVP also helps us make sure we have enough space and materials ready for everyone.

Of course — what kind of society meeting would it be without tea and biscuits? Light refreshments will be provided to keep you suitably fuelled for an evening of analog pursuits.
