About The Event

The Analog Arts Society is a monthly gathering for anyone craving a little more time offline and a little more space for creativity, curiosity and connection.

Bring whatever analog hobby you’re currently enjoying — a journal, scrapbook, letters you’ve been meaning to write, a book you’re halfway through, or another clean, table-friendly creative project. There’ll also be a dedicated reading spot for anyone who simply wants to curl up with a good book.

This isn’t a class, and there’s no expectation to create anything in particular. Think of it as dedicated time to actually do the things we so often say we never have time for, surrounded by other people doing the same.

Whether you’re already an avid journaler, scrapbooker or reader, or you’re simply curious about spending more of your free time offline, you’re welcome. Come alone or bring a friend, settle in with your chosen activity, meet some like-minded people and leave feeling creatively recharged.

What To Bring

A journal or scrapbook
Letters or postcards to write
A book or magazine to read
A sketchbook and pencils
Collage, paper crafts or ephemera
Knitting, crochet or another small handcraft
Crosswords, puzzles or anything else that keeps your hands and mind happily occupied

We’ll have a selection of magazines and scrapbooking materials and tools to dip into, plus reading lights for anyone settling into our reading spot — so you don’t need to arrive fully equipped.

And if letter writing is your thing, we have our very own Analog Mailbox. Write your letter or postcard, pop it in the box and we’ll mail it for you after the event.

The only rule? Keep your chosen activity clean, portable and table-friendly. If you can bring it along, settle in and do it without making too much of a mess, it’s probably welcome.
